Taking part in a Shark Tank–style entrepreneur pitch show on French national TV was an incredible experience, a real turning point in the history of MonLivreSMS. Thanks to this unique showcase, we were able to share our passion for turning your conversations, and your most precious memories, into a book you can hold.
The best part, though? Your notes, your kind words. They keep this project alive, every day. And then Anthony Bourbon joined us. His energy, his experience, his eye: he’s part of the team now.

A gift of love, not a business plan
Joachim’s girlfriend at the time was going through cancer. She was often in hospital, so they saw each other less. Their texts became the thread between them: the words you send when you can’t hold hands.

People kept asking
It wasn’t a business at first. Just a book for her. Then people asked, and asked again, and Joachim went for it. We live in a beautiful time. Still, what we write to each other will vanish in the cloud if nobody keeps it.

MonLivreSMS is born
January 2014: the site goes live. The first in the world to print your conversations. It felt obvious. Then it became a service, because those messages are worth more than a screenshot you’ll never open again.
